This is an outstanding resource for anyone wanting to go beyond year 1 of NT Greek. It is full of help in building vocabulary. I used the Metzger Lexical Aids book years ago but this goes much beyond that. Vocabulary is organized by roots in one section and by frequency in another. Another section lists every verb in the NT and all the principal parts of those verbs that appear in the NT.
This book allowed me to systematically work my way down to learning all NT Greek words used 3x or more (sadly, that was about 4 years ago and I've 'regressed' a bit-but still have the card I made up!).
There are many grammars that take take you beyond your first year of Greek, but few resources for vocabulary. This one is great.

This is a great product for increasing and mastering Greek Vocabulary. I must admit when I first received it I was a bit overwhelmed because of the amount of information, but I have come to really appreciate it. It is like a blown up and complete version of Metgzer's book "Lexical Aids for Students..." I would recommend both of these books actually. Even though this is a hardcover, it is relatively light because of the type of paper it is printed on. I would say it is portable as well, though not as much as Metzger's vocab book. The quality seems to be good, as it has held up for me. There is no more complete place to turn for Greek vocab than this book. I would say it goes best though accompanied with Bill Mounce's flash cards set.

A must for the Greek Student wanting to master the vocabulary of the GNT. His listing of every word of the NT listed by frequency up to and including hapax legomena is invaluable. The quickest way to learn the most vocab in the shortest amount of time.
