This is truly the story...better for showing to classrooms...the other version of Florence Nightingale you sell is really strange with vaudeville acts in it, but this is truly set out to tell her story...

I so enjoyed this movie. I never knew the whole story of Florence Nightingale and this was very well done to depict her life. She was certainly a remarkable woman. Great for the whole family to watch and also great for homeschoolers.

Jacqueline Smith does an awesome performance as Florence Nightingale. The movie ensures you that if God Called you to do a particular thing in life, HE Will Make A WAY! She was continually focused on Her Calling and nothing was going to deter her,- even a proposal of marriage. She was going to fulfil the calling in her life. What an example to young women that they can be all God wants them to be in Christ.

Fantastic movie. We saw it years ago and I have looked for this movie for a long time to purchase it. It does an excellent joy of portraying her life as a nurse. her struggles as a woman to be recognized and the endless work that she and the other ladies gave to take care of the wounded men. It showed her determination and vision.

Of course, I had heard of Florence Nightingale at some point during my public school education; but, the details of her life played out in this movie were amazing. It was a deeply moving portrayal of this great woman's contributions to the nursing profession. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
