I have been pleasantly surprised about this book. It has such a practical application to so many areas of life from completing a tough school load to a quest for physical fitness. It really identifies what separates those who "turn lemons to lemonade" and those who don't in such a way that anyone can benefit from the application.

I am a Therapist and this was a gift from my wife for use in my work. I have found it an amazing book. I have gained many insights for myself and will also be referring future clients to this book.

powerful, simple, biblical message about self control, or Holy Spirit control, over our words and actions. Good read, well done.

It was a great motivational book. But dissapointed it seemed completely secular. A couple of Bible quotes and that's it.

On a scale of 0 to 5, I give the book a 5. Very pleased with purchase of book. Matter of fact, if I had given the book the "3 Seconds: The Power of Thinking Twice," I probably would not have purchased the book. But I was sold on the subject matter in the Table of Content and the unbelievable Tuesday Markdown Price of $2.99 (book is $19.99). But after I received the book, I knew that I actually had a jewel of a book. The brevity in which each subject matter was presented was awesome, but the detail which was given to each subject presented in the book was equally refreshing. It provided timely and practical advice about going the second mile, having a vision, and procrastination. There are three other things but they escape me at this time. I finished the book in less than two days. Just that captivated by content. Want to share precepts with my youth group as a reading challenge first, but also to encourage them to use these principles in shaping their lives. Was actually sharing some tenets of the book with a young adult at church Saturday. Familiar with author Les Parrott and his wife Leslie. Good book. Looking forward to more selections from them.
