I love my large print edition of A Sheperds Look at Psalm 23. the book is insightul comparing an actual modern day shepherd's experiences with our great Shepherd the Lord Jesus Christ.
Each chapter is actually a verse from the psalm but i was disappointed to see that it is no longer the King James Version that is used but a derivitive, maybe New King James or NAS.

This book is extremely easy to read but it is very enlightening. The author does a great job comparing the shepherd to Christ and the sheep to us. Made the 23 psalm come alive.

A shepherd/pastor gently brings Psalms 23 to life by living. The attention to descriptive details provide vivid imagery. The interwoven scripture with practical application is priceless. A must read for every Christian.

My daughter shared her copy with me and what a inspirational message the author gives us! I purchased a copy for myself, however was driven to give it away to a close friend. Replacing it with another, I find that will not be enough. There are others in my family that must have a copy.

I bought this book as a gift because I read it several years ago. As with all of Phillip Keller's book, this book explains so clearly our relationship with Jesus. This book gets a 5 star rating from me.

After teaching a Bible Study on this book, I asked the group what the Church's name should be. A 17 yr. old said, "Pastor the Shepherd give the best on the tableland let's name our church, Heaven's Tableland Christian Church!" This is a wonderful book and will NEVER get old!

This book is one of the greatest bible-based books that I have ever read. It appealed to me on so many levels. However, it gave me some keen insight as to my responsibility as a pastor. I am convinced that every pastor who is serious about their pastoral ministry being effective, biblically-consistent and God-honoring will want to read this book.

This book I read once or twice a year. I am using it now to teach about young David, as a shepherd. The children, in Sunday school, love hearing about the job of watching sheep. I also use the flannel board with it.,and they remember the story longer . I love the comparisons of the sheep with christian problems. The children now know more, about the 23 psalm, than their parents, do who have been in church 30 yrs. One of the mothers, came to stay with her son,as he was shy, and loves the storys. She thought I WAS extremly smart until I told her I got my info from Mr. Kellers book. She asked permission ,to stayand now does so every Sunday. . So I am ordering a copy for her. I have given this book in past years a s Christmas and birthday presents.

This book tells you things you can not know unless you are a shepherd - a good, kind, caring shepherd. Through this book the 23rd Psalm now has come to mean more to me. It is well worth reading. Very interesting and very hard to put down!

This is an exceptional book that belongs of the shelf of every Christian. For those of us who know nothing about the care and raising of sheep, it opens our eyes to the meaning of Good Shepherd, especially in reference to our Lord and Savior and our relationship with Him.
