The DVD is high quality, easy to use and provides the visual power to the teachings. Phillip Yancey is clear in his speech and very engaging. Very inspirational material.

I used this to lead a session of my Women's Discipleship group. Yanceys style put us at ease and his honesty about his own doubts and discoveries encouraged participants to also let down their guard and be honest with each other. I loved the way he made prayer a thread that should run through our days. I knwo it changed the way we now pray. I liked the way the DvD has stopping points so that we can discuss what has "hit " us to that point. Excellent!

We are using the DVD series in our Wednesday evening Bible study. The video portions are presented incrementally throughout the six sessions and each student is dependent upon a study guide (retailing for 9.99) to follow along in the flow of the study. If one has read in advance the book upon which this series is based, the material is more readily absorbed. It is a helpful study if the facilitator is able to keep the discussion alive. Much of the mastery of the content is dependent upon student completing out-of-class assignments and being prepared to share their insights with the group.

We are using the DVD after several weeks in the book and find it much more stimulating and helps in the discussion on prayer.
