This book does teach some great Christian values and is a sweet story of acceptance, and forgiveness.

Callie Roberts is a driven to make things up to her younger brother Jonah...she believes that it is her fault that he is deaf. While Micah is trying to help his cousin Dan.

When Micah returns to town with a baby, it is Callie who comes to his rescue. Hard to believe a woman would give away her baby, but that same child is destined to start healing lives.

Some parts of the book will have you giggling, and others are sad. Felt bad for Micah's sister who is morning the loss of her husband. I also loved the character of Gus, what a great friend he is.

I enjoyed reading this fast pace book and it will make a great summer read.
