I don't remember all the details about the story anymore, but do remember that I was left with a warm feeling and a smile on my face when I closed the book for the last time. I recommend it for adults and teens.

Judy K BurgiKendallville, INAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Christmas Novella That Will Capture Your Heart!January 31, 2014Judy K BurgiKendallville, INAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for The Christmas Lamp. What a wonderful heartfelt Christmas read. This story will surely tug on your heart strings as it did mine.
Nativity is a small town close to being non-existent due to money woes. Will this town survive and thrive once again at the expense of losing the Christmas traditions that are near and dear to the people of Nativity?
As I became acquainted with each character in this book, my heart grew in fondness for each and every one. I asked myself a question, would I be as concerned with tradition as these folks were or would I push to set tradition aside in order to save my town?
This is one heartwarming story that you do not want to miss. I know Christmas has come and gone but I still enjoy a good Christmas read any time of the year.
I have read other books by author Lori Copeland and have enjoyed her novels. Don't miss out on this one! -
Todd Reynolds5 Stars Out Of 5Grab that cup of Joe and enjoy!December 5, 2011Todd ReynoldsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for The Christmas Lamp.A very good little story with endearing characters. What I liked about this book, as opposed to some I have read in that Harlequin Romance mode..., is the author did not overdo it with too much adjective writing. The storyline caught my attention, and I found myself going back to it until I finished - a sign of a good book. The critic in me would say she could have placed some flirting moments as a foundation between Jake and Roni before the holding of hands and their first kiss. Any thoughts of romance or an attraction at that point was all in their minds, so when Jake takes a hold of her hand, which eventually leads to their first kiss, that came out of the blue. I would have liked to see some foreground laid out for that moment. Otherwise, overall I enjoyed its message how the true meaning of Christmas does not have to come expensively or through long standing traditions. It simple needs to come from your heart.
