The story line was OK. My main problem was the language. I was very surprised when I found several curse words throughout the book. If I wanted that I would not read from christian books!

Great end to the trilogy. Ending was a complete surprise. I would recommend all three books to any one who loves adventure and suspense. My daughter can't wait to read it.

Read the entire triology series in two weeks. Very good and suspenseful. Right up there with the Tom Clancy's of the fictional world. Really makes you stop and think where we are in the end times with the terrosists cells that are thriving in every nation.

I read this whole trilogy. The suspense and intrigue would have rated 5 stars. However, I expect more from a Christian author selling through Christian avenues. I was so sorely disappointed and even disgusted with the author over missing opportunities to lead his readers to Christ. Three (3) times during the course of the Trilogy, the Russian mobster point-black asks the heroine about how to become a Christian. He doesn't use those exact words, but his intent seems clear from what is written. All three times, the heroine does not answer him. Once she refers him to another book, not the Bible. What's up with that!?! What a waste of paper. Mr. Hynd, you might as well sell these books from a secular vendor and don't waste anyone's time calling it Christian fiction.

Countdown in Cairo starts out with a dramatic beginning with the morgue as the backdrop and then drops back to the beginning of the story. The set up to the main story was slow at times, but that is because the story is rich in detail of locations and background. It is certainly worth the wait! There are a number of background facts about the Russian events mixed in with the fiction creating an interesting blend. All three of the books feature Alexandra LaDuca, a strong female character that is smart, formidable, and a woman of faith. There were more spiritual elements to this story than the other books as Alex has struggles with moral consequences in her employment and with forgiveness. This is another GREAT book by this author.
