This is the best book explaining the mandates of God, the coming and going of the nations and why. It explains how we got to where we are today and that God could take down the United States also if we are not doing what he mandates. I have learned so much from Henry Morris' books.

Good read, but read your bible alongside.

There is a lot of biblical history in this book which was really interesting and good to read. There is also a lot of assumptions by the author. He notes them as such, but it would be a good idea to do the research on your own as well to determine truth.

I started reading the book with not a lot of knowledge of the history of the nation's and found it all fascinating. He does a good job at explaining how we have gotten to where we are.

Too much of Mr. Morris's exegesis is based upon fairy tales & highly subjective whimsies. This is VERY BAD, in that many who are ignorant, & trust Mr. Morris as some sort of messiah figure --- will be led astray. There is a thrice repeated warning against ADDING TO the Scriptures.

Creationists accuse "the opposition" of such sorry claims, but I am encountering far too much of this sort of thing in Creationist writings. I find myself losing interest in reading Creationist material.
