We were already lovers of the Narnia series and purchased this volume for our grandson. When we opened it, however, we were enchanted by this magnificent edition...and are keeping it for ourselves. Of course, we'll be ordering another to give.

This is a beautiful color illustrated volume of all of the stories, but I found it a little annoying that they were in the chronological rather than the published order... I prefer to read them the latter way. I suppose I just need to make myself a list of my preferred order. Other than that, great book, a series I've treasured since childhood.

I ordered this book to be sent to my granddaughter in Idaho. We are a family of bibliophiles & I was a bit worried not being able to see & feel the book myself but my daughter rang me to thank me & said it is a really beautiful book & they are delighted with it. My little granddaughter is too young to read but loves the drawings & the stories as my daughter reads them to her. Thank you so much for providing books of such quality at such a good price.

We have the complete book set as well as the books on cd. Our kids love them both. The CDs are their favorites though. We went on a 4 1/2 hour trip and instead of taking the DVD player, we took the CDs. The kids couldn't get enough of them. We listened all the way to and from our destination. They have listened to them several times since then also.

Just a beautiful edition of these great books! One of my most treasured volumes in my personal library-the illustrations are magical and of course Narnia is a treat for kids and adults alike. A wonderful version of these classics!

I am 8 years old and I have read this book 5 times. And I'll read it again! It is an amazing adventure about 8 children discovering Narnia at different time periods. I like it because it resembles the Bible. I think people should read it because it makes you feel as if you are in Narnia. It is special to me.
