This book told the Christmas story accurately and engagingly from the visit to Mary by the angel through the flight to Egypt and the return to Nazareth. There are Bible references given and there is a short reading about "when Jesus grew up".
The size of the book is perfect for little hands, the pictures are colorful, and the price of the book is great.

I used these as gifts for two groups I teach, one preschool and one class of grade 1/2s. They both loved them! The book was good quality, the price was excellent and the content exceded the immediate Christmas story. Great purchase!

My church sponsored a half-day workshop to prepare young children for the Advent Season. I ordered these little books for the children as we focused on the Nativity theme. We started the workshop with the actual story, enhanced by the wonderful drawings in the little booklets. The children sang songs, along with movements, to get energized for the rest of the activities, which included small groups going to various stations for specific advent-related crafts. We culminated the event by gathering as a whole group to share and review the story, songs, and events of the day.

This book basically is the Christmas story from the Beginner's Bible. It starts with Mary's visit from Gabriel to the visit from the Magi. It ends with a summary of Jesus' life and why he died on the cross for us. It was a very complete story of His birth and I liked how it gave the reason for His life. Great for kids! :)

This Beginner's Bible story is perfect. I ordered 20 of them and gave them to my 20 children after we had read it. They could take it home to read to parents or brothers and sisters.
I gave it to ages 3 up to 7.

This is a thin paperback book, but it was perfect for my kids ages 3 and 5. We also got this for our book exchanges for their classes at school. LOVE IT!

I purchase many of these books to give to my preschool class as a Christmas gift. We use the beginner bible in class and the children love to receive the Story of the Birth of Jesus section from the book to take home and read with their parents. I would definitely recommend for children ages 2 - 7 years of age.

What a charmingly illustrated book of Jesus birth. The book depicts the account of our Savior’s birth, the Shepherds and the three Wise Men in a more biblically accurate way than I expected would be portrayed. A beautiful addition to our child’s book collection! I will be purchasing more of the books for my Sunday school class and our neighbors’ children, as Christmas gifts.

I picked up a few of these little books for my 6 grandchildren thinking it would just be another normal nativity story. How pleased I was to discover that it had wonderful colorful pictures and was the most accurate Nativity Childrens Story Book I have ever read. Normally I tell my grandkids that the Wise men really didnt come visit Jesus until he was a young boy but this book was right on target biblically. And it even added the information about Mary not being married and King Herod and them fleeing to Eygpt, etc. I would highly reccomend this book even to alittle order child than 5 yrs old. I am definately buying a few more before Christmas. Thank You so much. Note : This is the Ebook but they also have the regular book

I have other books published by this same group with bible stories for children. They were all hardcover and I assumed that this one would be as well. The story is fine but I can't give it to my daughter yet because she will just rip the pages out. So for now it sits waiting to be used. The value overall was good though so I can't complain about that.
