The books were very interesting and I had a hard time putting them down. Since moving into an area where there are Amish people, reading about them in these books has given me a better understanding about their ways.

I would reccomend these books to anyone!!!! They are interesting, and enjoyable. I can't wait to read more of Beverly Lewis' books.

I loved these books and couldn't put them down! Beverly Lewis really draws you into the life of Lancaster County and the life of the Amish. I'm learning so much about their culture through her books! I highly recommend these books! Be sure to get the whole series, though as the story is a continuing saga through the three books!

I think these are really the most interesting books. You learn about the Amish tradition as well as being entertained with a good story. I enjoy these so much and really hate to see the series end. Am awaiting the 3rd in the series about Nellie
