In the Hebrew Scriptures there is no word for "spiritual." And Jesus never used the phrase "spiritual life." Why? Because for Jesus and his tradition, all of life is spiritual. But what does that really mean?

One cannot but walk away with a deeper sense of God's engagement in everything we do in this life. I love Rob Bell's ability to communicate with clarity and comprehensiveness. I recommend this DVD (and his NOOMA series) without any reservation at all.

Someone shared this DVD with me and I had to own a copy so that I from time to time I could replay it. Rob is an excellent speaker who keeps you entertained while sharing his deep faith on a level understandable to all. All of the Nooma DVDs leave you thinking and wanting to know more. Excellent product.

Science beware you can only prove what is true and ignore those obvious truths. In the beginning... God created... I have been telling my friends for as long as I can remember that Science only points out the obvious... that is, God is real. This man, with a lot better presentation, echoed my very thoughts to an audience that most likely was blown away in their faith by the light of the truth. Once again Rob tells us how he sees the world in God's light and I like it. Faith, you need faith? Connect the dots and find God is creator behind everything you see and everything you don't see, if, you choose not to ignore the truth. Seek and you'll find Him there. Hmmm... I really like Rob's teaching style, different, but good!

I have watched this DVD a number of times and highly reccommend it. David Bell will get you thinking and it's amazing to hear him tie science together with spirituality. This DVD is as entertaining as it is informative. Bravo.

Bell's teachings certainly catch my attention since they are mostly unique compared to so many Bible teachers. Throughout the entire video, I had a very uneasy feeling about his perspective. It was sounded like he was describing Pantheism without using the buzz words associated with Pantheism. Bell's repeated phrase of calling the creation account in Genesis "poetry" or a poem was greatly disturbing. Is the Bible God's Word/Truth or is it poetry which implies it's just literature. If you're looking for teaching on God's Creation, try any of the resourses from Answers in Genesis.

Although Rob Bell has a lot of controversy surrounding him and his theology, I didn't find anything in this particular dvd that was unbiblical. As another reviewer mentioned, he doesn't mention Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation, however, the teaching in this dvd was not about Jesus Christ or salvation. I found it to be a great dvd as far as reconciling science and faith and the (im)possibilities of what God has done. I think he does a great job on explaining how incomprehensible and big our God is and how little we really know and understand.

Beware. Scripture tells all to be discernful. I enjoyed the information Rob Bell brings out on "Everything is Spiritual" however, I kept waiting for Rob to tell the world about Jesus Christ as the only way to enter heaven. Rob does not mention salvation through God's only begotten son, Jesus Christ and why Jesus had to die on the cross. BEWARE. Jesus said there will be many false teachers that will deceive many. Do diligent research on Rob Bell in the internet and review carefully. May God keep you from deceivers.

I found the commentary on the first creation account by Rob Bell to be outstanding! He has a wealth of background in the Hebrew culture and language which provides the listener with wonderful insights. He also contemporizes his analysis with the latest scientific thought and blends this with what the Hebrew Scriptures offer us in the Genesis story--I very highly recommend DVD to anyone interested in having fresh perspective on this part of the Christian tradition. Actually, I have found anything Rob has videoed or presented in book form to be extremely well thought out and presented.

I really enjoyed the dvd and would give it a higher rating except it doesn't quite live up to the title. I'm still waiting for the follow through for his excellent introduction to a difficult subject. About 99% of the presentation is simply laying a foundation for his conclusion that everything is spiritual but with that title I expected the meat of the presentation to discuss what that means and how that truth should change the way we live as Christians. Didn't happen.

Rob Bell is a gifted speaker who does an excellent job of explaining why everythingis spiritual. this is a great dvd to use asa witnessing tool with those who see themselves as to smart to be sucked into Christianity. Thank you Rob for a great DVD.

Rob Bell does an excellent job of linking science and spirituality ... and his presentation is masterful. I showed this at church and needed to order 15 extra copies for people to own their own and share with non-Christian friends (I ordered 5 myself). This is a great resource to share with those heavily steeped in science.
