BMG The Runner from Ravenshead DVD
After a daring escape from Ravenshead Prison, Sam finds herself in worse trouble trying to outrun the relentless wardens. But help is on the way - kind of. Henry, janitor for the City of Refuge Guide Service, is unexpectedly thrust into the line of duty when all the trained guides are called out on other missions. As he sets out on his long-awaited first assignment, he gets more adventure than he bargained for. Will the enthusiastic but awkward amateur guide persuade Sam to trust him before it's too late? The Runner from Ravenshead is an allegory about finding refuge and rest from the metaphorical wardens we face in life. Widescreen. Dove approved. Approx. 81 minutes.

My children range from 2 to 10, and we all enjoyed this movie. Very entertaining and well made, with a great message. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful movie!!! Great values, lots of action, and the actors are so cute. My children enjoyed it. Laughter, adventure, and emotions run high throughout this film. Loved it!!!

My family watched this movie tonight and absolutely loved it. It's still hard for me to believe that it was primarily the work of a single Christian family and that there were only five actors, since many scenes show seven or eight people. You can't get more "independent" than that! Yet this independent film rivals the best that Hollywood has to offer. As a movie aficionado I have to say this is probably in the top 2% of movies. Now if only we could get it on Blu-ray!

The Runner From Ravenshead is an outstanding Independent film produced by the Steege Family. Although it is their first film, it is high quality and very well acted. It definitely doesn't have the feel of a first film. The music was professionally done, and the storyline is an excellent allegory of the prisons we face in life and how we can only find refuge in Jesus.
This film was acted by the five Steege children, from ages 9 and under. The youngest was two at the time! This alone makes the video worth watching! All five of the children are tremendous actors! I loved the character Henry, played by a six year old. He provided great slapstick comedy, and has a charming personality! My entire family from teenagers all the way up to adults loved this outstanding film. It is well worth seeing, and I would recommend it to anyone! I can't wait to see what's next from the Steege family!
This film is completely family-friendly and has an excellent Christian message.

We had the privilege of seeing this movie at a Christian film festival and were simply amazed by the quality! It truly is "Little Rascals meets Pilgrim's Progress"! It was so much fun to hear the laughter through the audience and to see the smiles of delight on faces as everyone watched a movie that is truly unique.
The all-child cast (all siblings) do a superb job! The music is masterful! And, the message is refreshing.
If your trying to decide upon a great gift or film for your own family, I highly recommend this one! You will not be disappointed.
