This book is very informative in explaining the book of Romans. Our church is doing a Bible study and it has been a tremendous help.

I purchased the Romans commentary and love it. If you have a Life Applications Bible, there is always commentary on the bottom of the pages. Well in this one commentary that is all about Romans, each verse is broken down and you will see the same writings in the Romans commentary as in the Bible, BUT, when the commentary is strickly on Romans, there is so much more elaboration and life illustrations that help you apply the verses to your life. My only regret is that I didn't order the entire set at once.

I have most of the Life Application Bible Comentaries and use them to prepare Sunday School lessons. I particularly like the way they give you applications for use in today's world.

If you are interested in learning what the true meaning of Romans is without getting into the extremely deep theology of it, this commentary is perfect. I used it as part of my commentaries when doing a study for a group of brothers and sisters to help me be able to teach them as well as teach myself. I also used the MacArthur Romans 1-8 commentary to help define the true theological meanings behind Romans. Excellent buy... would use this brand commentary again in a heartbeat!!
