We've used Ray Vander Laan's DVD's previously in our adult Sunday School classes and always received enthusiastic response from the participants who range from twenty something to age 80. The series entitled Fire on the Mountain and God heard Their Cry did not disappoint. His great insight in scripture, the location and the quality of the production make for excellent presentation.

This Bible Study was awesome!! Having the study actually take place (on the video) where Moses and the Israelites walked in the Exodus brought a new appreciation and understanding to the trek all those people took. The teaching was excellent, the book offered great opportunity for personal reflection. We will definitely use this study again!

The Sunday school class really enjoys the videos in the series and the study guides present additional material that there wouldn't be time to cover in class.

Definately a five star release. Each volume that is realeased gets better and better. My group just completed Fire on the Mountain, and now they want to repeat it again. Ray's skills and talent in teaching Bible truths is a blessing to everyone that watches. My small group has grown a new appreciation for Moses and the early journeys of Israel.

The study itself is excellent -- 5-star. The book study is more suitable for beginners, I would say, and those whose participants are fully committed to a full week of work each week.I find it extrememly helpful in setting my own guide for a Sunday, 1-hour class, adding to it as needed, for where we are as a group. In other words, I adapt it.
