This hardcover book is just a treat to hold and look through, as it is beautifully designed. The information is fascinating to me. Ms. Beechick looks at the Hebrew meanings of words and uses of words in order to narrow down the true meaning of many surprising things in the Bible. Topics include who may have actually written Genesis, dinosaurs in the Bible, and comparisons with many worldwide flood myths. The book includes the actual text of Genesis 1-11, many art reproductions of Genesis events, and topics for discussion. I think the book is best suited for high school or adults who have a solid familiarity with the Bible and are ready for more depth.

I bought this book last year, hoping to use it with our son for homeschooling, never got around to it but just recently, he picked it off the shelf and has been devouring it on his own! He says he loves it, it's so interesting etc.! He's at a 7/8 level and I'd highly recommend this book if you, or your child, is interested in where the Bible fits historically, as well as evidence in different nations.
