Great study that gives a new perspective on the purpose of marriage. Our class really enjoyed this study, and it sparked a lot of good discussion. We've done several good marriage related studies before, and this one was different and challenging. Highly recommend this study.

I would give this a VERY GOOD rating...interesting and deep concepts. Also very easy to set up as a group study. Good biblical backing as well. Overall, very insightful and helpful for me and my marriage!!

The segments in this video were pretty short, and easy to follow. This DVD came with a leader's guide, so we didn't order an additional workbook. However, the leader's guide was just a small booklet on how to lead the group. You need to buy the workbook in addition to this DVD. We probably would have gotten a lot more out of it if we knew that in advance! :) Overall, I would recommend this DVD as it contains a lot of valuable marital information.

Is God using marriage to mold us to be more like Christ?-This was an awesome concept. Once you starting watching the Sacred Marriage DVD you will want to watch it all the way through. This is the first time I heard Gary Thomas and he was great. This should be your first marriage series DVD to have the heart to change not just techniques-Excellent!

Gary Thomas has done an excellent job of putting together a curriculum that can be used in pre-marital or marital counseling, as a Bible Study, as a Sunday School curriculum, etc. I used it in our Sunday School and it was both life changing and marriage saving. He uses biblical and historical examples of how the Lord utilizes the challenges of marriage to help us grow in our understanding and dependency upon Him. We have started his Sacred Parenting DVD and it is phenomenal as well. I can't say enough great things about them both. Well worth the investment of time and money.

I was sceptical at first, however once we got going with the DVD, the facilitator shows great passion for the Lord and his relationship with Christ. Because of that he is able to explain how when we are focused on the Lord, we are less focused on our spouces short comings! As we all have them, this was a great wake up call!

Gary Thomas has done an excellent work in presenting this material. We used it in a marriage enrichment class last year and by popular demand we are going to show it again. It is not only the material but the way he presents it that we really appreciate.

This is an absolutely incredible seires to transform your marrige. It most cases this will challenege the very way you think about marriage, but even if you've read the book or been taught this concept before it's good to just sit down and talk about it with your spouse. What a difference the church could make if our marriages reflected our love for Christ.

We hosted an Adult SS Class using this series. Found it outstanding and spoke to most of the 16 to 18 that attended. Not your average "how to fix your marriage" format. Much needed by most marriages.

My husband and I did this curriculum for our Sunday School class and it was quite interesting. The author makes some really good analogies and helps you to better understand the holiness aspect of your marriage. All in all, I enjoyed it very much. The only downer is that at times it seemed to drive toward people that were having problems, which made a few people that were happily married a bit bored, I feel. Other than that, loved it!

Excellent DVD. It makes you look at marriage as a tool to get closer to God something Christian couples need to dwell on. It would be nice if the participant guide was sold with the DVD as a package.
