Zondervan Africa Bible Commentary: A One-Volume Commentary Written by 70 African Scholars Updated Edition

In the 19th century, Europeans regarded Africa as the "dark continent." Now, in the 21st century, it's home to the fastest-growing churches on the globe! Produced by both English- and French-speaking Africans, this revised and updated groundbreaking work gives a firsthand look at how people outside the West approach and interpret Scripture. 1616 pages, hardcover from Zondervan.

I was surprised how fresh and insightful this one volume commentary is compared to the volumes I have of commentary sets I presently and have previously owned. Well worth your investment. Seeing through the eyes of another culture other than a western mind set- priceless.

I have many commentaries, however, this one is the most resourceful, especially to African-American pastors and ministers. I believe that all African and people of color should have this in their library.
