The Quiet Place is an awesome daily devotional written by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. It is a devotional that will take you through all 365 days of the year from January 1 to December 31.
Each day contains a verse, some thoughts related to the verse and application questions. I really enjoy the application questions and think they are the highlight of this great devotional! They are very specific and designed to elicit a response from the reader. These questions can help you as you mature in your spiritual journey and walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I use several devotionals and I love all of them! The Uncommon Life Daily Challenge by Tony Dungy is excellent and I highly recommend it! What I really like about The Quiet Place is its emphasis on application and call to action. When I read each days devotion I walk away from the day's reading with a specific action to accomplish or principle to meditate on and it is a great way to start the day! I highly recommend this fantastic devotional! It is a great way to start off each day of 2013 and a great supplement to your daily Bible reading!

The devotional is very good quality and it looks beautiful.
Most importantly the writings of Nancy are both helpful and encouraging and yet so true! This would make a perfect gift!
