I read this book about a year or so ago. I have now read Fire and Storm. This is a very good series. I found all 3 of these books very hard to quit reading even when it was way past bed time.I am about to purchase Fury if I can find the hardcover. I hope that it is as interesting.

The Great Awakening Series is awesome. These are four great books that I found difficult to put down, and once I was finished with one, would grab the next one to begin. I didn't want any of them to end. Bill Bright, you are missed!

Loved this book. I pray that the spirit of holiness and revival will fall on everyone in this nation as it did on the faithful back then!

I just finished Proof by Jack Cavanaugh and Bill Bright. Jack Cavanaugh is the writer of the series. What a great writer he is. Proof would make a great movie. Jack Cavanaugh did an excellent job with the development of the characters. The characters embodied true human traits, so as you are reading you can picture yourself there watching the characters interact as if they were real. Also knowing that the story revolves around the The Great Awakenings, which were true events, made the story even more captivating. As a reader you learn to hate J,K. Jarves, you learn to love Harrison Shaw and Victoria Jarves. Even though Victoria Jarves is one of the important characters, not the 'main' character, you are rooting for her as much as you are for Harrison. Cavanaugh did a wonderful job with creating her character. Victoria is multi-faceted. As a reader you see her character evolve multiple times and is amazing to read. Great book! Many of the aspects of the story are true.

An excellent, easy read. This book is an excellent fictional story based around actual events during the Great Awakenings. I'm looking forward to the second book in the series coming out in September.
