Level A Teacher's Manual, Second Edition The aim of this series is to teach the student the fundamental principles of phonics in a logical sequence, along with consistent drill and repetition of these concepts to insure comprehension. These courses cover short and long vowels, consonants, and consonant blends, as well as essential word-recognition skills. It is recommended that a supplemental set of flash cards and charts be used with this program. They can be ordered separately by using stock #25815.

Review 1 for Adventures in Phonics, Level A, Teacher's Manual
I'm not a teacher and found this a solid guide to teaching phonics. It followed a logical sequence and was easy to understand and implement. Not of a lot of extra activity is added, just what you need. I liked the small picture of the student text on each page. Great price. This is a guide I'll keep, to use as a reference even if I use anothe program next time.

I ordered the flashcards. The series itself is excellent, but unless you are unsure of your ability to teach phonics, this book is overkill.
