Fortress Press Introduction to the Hebrew Bible with CD-ROM

A fresh, student-focused analysis of the Hebrew Bible's historical and practical nature. Collins underscores the alien nature of these texts to our modern circumstances---while uncovering parallels between today's world and that of the ancients. Discussion questions, maps, photos, and charts make it a valuable textbook. Includes a companion Libronix-compatible CD-ROM with extensive teaching materials. 700 pages, softcover from Fortress.

Historical belief and Spiritual reality will have to be experienced in every generation. "Introduction to the Hebrew Bible" impacts the student with the foundational facts of God's working with man at the formative chapters of Hebrew culture, understanding His universe, human relationship. This is a very valuable resource and academic tool.

This may sound harsh, but-this book is absolute heretical rubbish. The author has no business writing about Holy Writ when he so obviously thinks it's fiction. It was required, so I had to pay $ 49.00 for it, but it's not worth 49 cents.
