I highly recommend Pastor Greg as a safe, fun (and sometimes goofy), family-friendly, sit-com, but even more importantly, as a Godly show woven with Biblical truths! My family and I have watched our Pastor Greg DVDs over and over and over and over...!!! Recently, I was very, very ill, and hospitalized with a blood clot in my lung. After coming home from the hospital, I needed MUCH rest. If I got out of bed at all, I put in my Pastor Greg DVDs and watched them while resting on the couch. Over the next six weeks, I watched my Pastor Greg DVDs over and over and over...!!! For six weeks, I was too sick to physically go to my own church, but I was able to put in my Pastor Greg DVDs, rest on my couch, and receive extremely creative "Biblical sermons" in sit-com form! While some scenes in Pastor Greg make me laugh so hard it hurts, other scenes are so emotionally touching they make me cry. While watching Pastor Greg, I've cried tears of sadness, tears of hope, and tears of joy! However, the BEST part of Pastor Greg is how all the goofy comedy is creatively woven into a theme that Pastor Greg does an excellent job of pulling it all together in his "sermon" that we watch him deliver to his congregation. As a Christian who longs to grow in her relationship with the Lord, and as a mom who is EXTREMELY choosy in what I allow my children to watch, I HIGHLY recommend Pastor Greg as a safe, fun, family-friendly sit-com that will not only make the viewers laugh out loud, but will also challenge viewers to live their faith a little more out loud...all for the glory of GOD!
