SonyaFayetteville, NCAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Amazing!!!September 6, 2012SonyaFayetteville, NCAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I absolutely love this bible. When I became a Christian, almost 2 years ago, a friend recommended it to me. She said that it was important for me to read the word every single day. This bible took the guess work out for me. I went from wondering how I was ever going to finish reading the bible and what I should read first and so on, to reading a few pages a day. I like it so much that I brought a few and gave them to family and friends.

AnnaWashington StateAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Easier to understandJanuary 4, 2013AnnaWashington StateAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have been reading "The One Year Bile" since 1987.
The Living Bible is easier for new Christians, as it is more in today's language. I have given many copies to new believers. It is an excellent gift. -

Sheila KnoxManitoba, CanadaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Exactly what I was looking for.October 5, 2020Sheila KnoxManitoba, CanadaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This Bible, written in NLT, easy to read and understand format, is organized in daily readings including Old Testament, New Testament and both Proverbs and Psalms. The OT is the longest segment daily. In the beginning it gives you a few different ways to use this Bible. You could read just the OT thru the year and Proverbs and then do Psalms and New Testament the next year.
I wanted this format to read aloud daily with our homeschool kids. Reading a section after each meal would be another way to do it. I know there are written daily readings to use, but this is so convenient, I just open to the day and read. The drawback is that we do skipping readings if we miss reading days for some reason. That would be the only negative thing about it. But the plan is to use it every year now til they graduate, which for us is only a few years now, so we should be able to catch those that we missed previously. -
