Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. Little Blessings: Why Is There A Cross?

This colorfully illustrated book tells the story of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ in rhyming verse that will delight little eyes and ears. Even the youngest readers can grasp the idea that Jesus loves them and died for them, and older readers will understand the deeper message of how we show our love for Jesus and what He did for us.

This book is a little longer than most "Little Blessing" books but does an excellent job of covering a very difficult topic to introduce to young children...the cross. Great job!

This is an excellent presentation of an event that can be a bit difficult for the little ones, yet they hear the reference to the cross and so should begin to understand it. This book does a wonderful job. The poetry is beautiful, the illustrations excellent and I really like the way she includes the full quotation of Scripture and the citation at the back of the book...good for a teaching aid later, or for parents to research back to their own Bible. Well-done, and certainly worth having in your home.
