Good Study for reflection on the life of David and application of principles found within the story of David. This study only recieves 3.5 stars because it feels incomplete. It should also be noted that when I purchased this study, I was looking for a detailed, in-depth study that included the Psalms that were written by David. I just feel like there's so much more to be said and to learn about the man after God's own heart!

Our Ladies Bible Study Group has enjoyed this author's approach to the study of David. It is thought provoking and reminds us that we are all sinners and that we can be forgiven,if we repent.

We bought this book for a women's bible study that meets weekly. We have had some trouble finding a book that is challenging, is not redundant, and doesen't take more than about an hour of study time per week. This book fits the bill in that you can pretty much decide how deep you want to go in the lesson and there is always more content to ponder after the lesson if you want to continue after the lesson meeting. We would highly reccommend!
