Game Programming focuses on creating Windows games, however, the XNA Framework also allows students to create games for the XBox 360 with minimal additional effort! Regardless of platform, students will learn many important concepts of game design. By the end of the course they are well-equipped to write their own games as they learn about game design & logic, displaying graphics, animating images, handling sprites, playing sounds, game physics, maze solutions, multi-players viewports, and AI. For the final project students will create new arcade game called Bumper Cars, demonstrating many of the game programming skills learned throughout the semester.
