I bought this Bible for a friend of mine. I love the NLT translation and the feature of a study guide is very helpful. Since it is a soft cover book, a Bible case would be useful. The only downside is the print is quite small.

Great bible. We bought them for our youth to borrow if they did not bring theirs to worship and bible study. The covers curl up easily, though. Other than that, great bible to use.

I was excited about this purchase because I read the bible with my children and I like for them to have the same translation I am reading from so they can see and experience it for themselves. As I read with them I noticed some of the words were different. When I sought to find out why I realized that this was 2nd Edition. I was using the 1st Edition. So that cleared up the non-cohesiveness and I bought me a copy. Now we are all on the same page:)

Very simple paperback Bibles. I order a bunch at a time cuz I teach 3-4 graders at church and many do not have their own Bibles...these are attractive and a great beginner's Bible...I give them out to kids that don't have one...We use the NLT for our kids version so these were perfect. And they don't break my bank account. Our goal is to have all of our kids (I have as many as 40 kids each week) bring their Bibles to class.

This product is used in a program for those with life controlling problems. We have found that the plain language and the study helps encourage our students to dig into God's Word.

I love this bible. It's easy to read and I like the size of it. I bought this bible for me and my teenage son. He has a NKJV bible but it's difficult for him to understand and that can take the joy out of reading God's words but he loves reading this bible. If I have anything negative to say is that the print is small.

I always had the King James version and never really understood it. Then I joined my present church and went to the Women's Bible Study where they had this bible. I was thrilled that I could read and understand it. I have not put my Bible down since. I can't seem to get enough of God's Word through this easy to understand Bible. I now own the large print and love it! Karen

The NLT Softcover Holy Bible meets our needs for a Lifeline Program Completion Award without busting the budget. Recent recipients relate that the translation helps them better understand God's word. The size is convenient and will fit in a purse or brief case. Readers also appreciate the concordance and dictionary.

Although I love the NLT translation, these Bibles were a disappointment. The print was very small. I bought these for beginning readers who have difficulty following lines and these just wouldn't work. I will be returning them.

I really like the easy reading format of the New Living Translation. I would like slightly larger font but I do enjoy the smaller, easy to pack size. So it's a give and take situation there.

I purchased the NLT Gift Bible for myself. I travel a lot and needed something light, portable and inexpensive. Now, I have no excuse not to pack my BIBLE and if it gets lost along the way, I won't be devastated.

This is a great Gift / Award Bible. I ordered one for each of my students in my Teen Theology Class. NLT is the best translation that I have found since the KJV, true scholarship and Spirituality are found in this version (unlike some that have great scholarship but lack in spiritual understanding). Great Bible at a GREAT price for giving away.
