The commentary is not scholarly but focuses on helping the preacher better communicate the meaning of the text. This is a good text for any minister.

I purchased this commentary as a means to help me construct a research paper. The commentary was well put together and easy to read. I was more concerned with the seventy week prophecy. Mr. Towney and myself sharply disagree on his interpretation but other than that the book is well written.
