Tyndale House Looking for God: An Unexpected Journey Through Tattoos, Tofu, and Pronouns

Where do you find God? In your quiet time or church? Not that these practices are bad, but God can be found in every aspect of life, if you let Him in. In her debut title, "Looking for God," Nancy Ortberg explores the traditional and nontraditional places where we find God. A former teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church, Ortberg's gift for storytelling makes deep truths of the Christian faith accessible. Come and find God where you didn't expect him, in every moment of your life.

This book was incredible. I bought it for my 23 year old daughter mainly because of the title and the few pages the website allowed me to read; she is into tattoos and tofu. The book was so inspiring to her that I bought the book for myself. My husband just finished reading the book and also loved it. I am still thoroughly enjoying reading every page. What a gifted writer.

This book is showing us that God is around us constantly.
We can have time with God while driving, sitting watching our children, or even while cooking. We don't have to journal or have a set time to connect with God. This book is down to earth, practial and touched my heart. Don't be hard on yourself for lost time with God. He is always waiting and watching. All we have to do is say thank you.

This book was very down-to-earth and very practical about fostering a day to day relationship with Christ. It was exactly what I needed at this point in my spiritual journey.
