Review 1 for Playing with Fire: How the Bible Ignites Change in Your Soul

I had heard Dr. Russell on the Radio and was intrigued at what he offered. He desires that we read the bible intelligently and this is what I desired. I have not progressed far enough in the book to obtain what I desired. Reading this is a real struggle for me. This is not what I would deem a book for the common man. It can be deciphered, but consumes more of my attention than my break time at work allows.

As far as an introductory book on biblical interpretation goes, this is probably going to be one of the best books you can find. It's very readable and quite interesting, especially to someone encountering the material for the first time. I liked how the book covered all genres in the bible and not not simply wrote on the bible as a whole.
