Tyndale House The One-Year Book of Daily Prayer

The daily discipline of prayer is often a challenging one for us who live busy, distracted lives. The One Year Book of Daily Prayer is a convenient and easy way to develop a refreshing habit of prayer. In this book, there is a prayer for each day that is taken from God's Word itself. You'll find prayers for help and strength, for peace and contentment, for hope and refreshment, for the ability to hold on to hope, and to love others better.

Bruce Barton is an experienced writer who also lost his father a few years ago. Bruce worked for twenty-six years with Youth for Christ before forming The Livingstone Corporation in 1988 with Dave Veerman. He served as a senior editor of the Life Application Bible and as the senior editor of the Life Application Bible Commentaries.

This book has a way of fitting in to all of our daily lives as though God is talking to us. It brings joy and comfort and knowledge of how to pray to God for thanksgiving and for peace to gut wrenching problems that have put our lives and happiness in jeopardy. We have found the strength to keep pn going and making us stronger to handle our lives tthe way God wants us to. God Bless Bruce Barton for sharing his strength and knowledge.
