We're moving past Winnie the Pooh...My 6 year old is getting into superheroes. Batman, Spiderman, etc. stand for good, but I personally find it hard to find shows, movies, etc. that are decent in the superhero department (especially for this age group). Bibleman is the perfect solution!!! And how awesome is it to teach kids we can fight against all evil with the WORD OF GOD!!! This is something we try to teach our kids, but how great for them to see this in action-I have to say that it is a very effective way to see Scripture applied in real life situations. My husband and I thought this was a little on the "cheezy" side, but even still found ourselves singing and quoting along with the movies. My older son couldn't stop watching them (they were a bit over my 4yo's head). The real reward came last night when we were reading our bedtime Bible story about Satan tempting Jesus and how he faught by quoting the Bible and the question at the end asked if the kids knew any Scripture. I expected them to answer with one of the simple ones I had taught them, but my oldest (the 6yo) pops out with (a rather lengthy) Bible quote from a Bibleman episode. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!? He is learning his Bible through these shows-what more could a mom hope for?

perfect for my 4 and 6 year old boys! They love all the plots! Finally a superhero that depends on the word of God to fight the everyday evils and temptations that we face.
