By far the best, most accurate, scripture-based view of end-time prophecies and events from a current day perspective. Walvoord brilliantly brings to life all the puzzle pieces of major current and near-future events together in front of you. The complete picture of how and why begins to unfold in a logical way that makes perfect sense of this very complex subject. Widely recognized as the father of modern day prophecy, John F. Walvoord gracefully accounts for opposing views concerning many end-times events and then presents the view that has the clearest, sensible support from a masterful gathering of relevant and insightful Old and New Testament scriptures. Walvoords protg, Mark Hitchcock makes valuable contributions to this astonishing work. With this book I have found the missing pieces for which I have been searching. Of the 40+ books I have read during several years of study and teaching this topic, this book far out-distances the others in clarity, reason and biblically supported insights. Though not an exhaustive study (225 pages), the book is packed with information. On a scale of 5 stars, give this a 7. Highly recommended.

This is an outstanding book for those who want to understand more about daily and current headlines. It is an eye-opening account of how our world is moving toward the fulfillment of God's end time plan for this world. God is on the throne and He is in control! A faith building read.
