BMG I Flunked Sunday School, DVD

When God calls Lloyd Boyd to be a "personal preacher," his phone starts to ring! Get Sister Selma's man back to church. Persuade Miss Minerva and Miss Flossie to move out of the sanctuary because somebody wants to buy the building. And don't share philanthropist Kevin Kuchar's dark secret. A surprising, thought-provoking reflection on religion! Ages 12 and up. 117 minutes.

It has a very slow beginning, but once it gets going it grabs you. We've watched it several times. It's funny, makes you cry, and it inspires you. I would have liked to have seen a different ending to the church building, butI'm not the writer!

This movie is so endearing! It makes you laugh, cry and think! Lloyd Boyd is just like each one of us- trying our best to make a difference, but not always seeing the results. But he remains faithful. This is a wonderful film with some twists and turns that you don't expect!
