I was looking for something different to update my services. Sadly, I was disappointed. It is a good book on the subject but I would hardly call it a "Handbook".

What a currrent, powerful, and needed tool! I have found it very important to bring variety to the special events in my ministry. The traditional ministers handbook were indesperate need of an update.The thoughtfulness and creative meaning behind the selections in Section 1- "Weddings" are a special blessing.Who would have thought about addressing issues of SIDS, or adult/adolescent suicide. What about a service for the post-abortion mother who must live with her decision?Malphurs and Wilhite did a great job pulling this tool together. May the Lord bless Keith Wilhite's family in these immediate days following his home going. His legacy is shared in these pages.
