Tyndale House Don't Bet Against Me! Beating the Odds Against Breast Cancer and in Life

Deanna Favre, wife of Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre, was thrust into the limelight when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. Now cancer-free, Deanna writes about her faith and the part it played in her recovery. Today, one of breast cancer's leading activists, she raises money for underinsured women and speaks out on their behalf. Deanna's story is a living testament that with faith, hope, and love, ordinary people can overcome even the most extraordinary circumstances.

Very easy to read, put together very well. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I could relate to a lot of things in the book, make sure you give yourself a lot of time to read it and have a lot of tissues nearby.

What a wonderful book! I read it in one sitting - such an intriguing story that shows how one woman and her family, although struck by heartbreak and sorrow turned to the Lord for strength and ultimate victory. I am a Wisconsinite and Packer fan but would have loved the book even if I weren't. A must read for everyone!
