Poor representation of conserveitive Baptist believes. Very disapointed that you are actually selling this liberal material. We almost thought this Tommy Douglas was related to or was on staff for president Obama right now with all the garabge going on in Washington.

This movie was not what we expected so really can't recommend it. It has more of a "political" flavor - not so much about ministry.

This movie started out great! I was quite proud of the fact I chose such a good one but that didn't last long. I went from starting a new ministry in the frontier of Saskatchewan to ALL politics! Very length film...a lot of good information but I was quite bored by the end of the film!

I was very disappointed in this dvd - it is a film of socialist propaganda! There were obviously words "bleeped" out to make it more acceptable to a christian audience but its message is not accepable when the results of socialism are understood!

Not Recommended! This movie has a very strong socialist theme. It starts off well (hence 1 star) but ends up supporting a socialistic agenda without giving the full scope of the issues the movie advances. For instance, where do the funds for government programs come from? How successful are they over time? The description calls what Tommy Douglas accomplished as attaining "freedoms" for people of Canada, but in reality they are losses in freedom. Greater government control leads to higher taxes, bureaucracy, mismanagement, intrusion, and waste. I believe he meant well, but many well meaning ideas are not for the best.I would not recommend this movie unless you are interested in watching socialist propaganda.
