Tyndale House The One Year Yellow Ribbon Devotional: Take a Stand in Prayer for Our Nation and Those Who Serve

During a time of war, so many people are affected by the absence of loved ones who leave home to serve in distant lands. For all those who are left behind, often struggling to find contentment and hope, The One Year Yellow Ribbon Devotional is a book that's sure to be treasured. The devotional reminds the families and friends of those in the armed forces to pray diligently, and it encourages all Americans to take a stand by praying for our country and the men and women serving overseas.

Even if you do not have a loved one in the military, this book is a must read. It is insightful about daily living as well as the ups, downs, sweet moments, fears and sorrows. It is very thoughtful and devotional. I sometimes just keep on reading more than just the "day" I am in because I want to know more.

Brenda and Carol are two military wives who have done it all: overseas assignments, deployments, long separations, raising kids around the world, etc. They write to encourage us to have faith in God and pray for our military. Their stories of life's daily struggles and triumphs demonstrate God's goodness to all. A definite must for anyone who is in or loves someone in the military.
