This book is a great example of the do it all attitude that seems to possess many women during the holidays and often beyond. Lori has crafted a grand story that may seem too familiar in our world of rush, rush, rush.
When Rose’s devotion to service has her going, going, going and seeming to leave her family behind the results may be devastating. An accident, on Christmas Eve, is Rose’s awakening, but will she find the right balance?
Serving God can be accomplished in many ways, but just not all at once. This is a story about finding balance, peace and joy while the world never stops.

Although I appreciate the author's effort, I didn't care for this book. It was clearly a morality tale (which is fine) but it was much too predictable in its purpose. The main character didn't draw me in and the story couldn't hold my attention.

This book reminds us all to: 1. remember the reason for the season 2. why so many of us have lost the Christmas feeling and enjoyment and how to get it back. 3. To Access what is truly important in our Lives. 4. Not to judge a book by it's cover. I truly enjoyed it and certainly could apply so many of the incidents to my own life.
