This book brings into perspective what ALL men face and should be concerned about.

I've read several books addressing the sexual temptations men face, but none of them are as helpful as this one. Author Bill Perkins talks frankly with men about sexual struggles, admitting the struggles, finding freedom, and then remaining free. He has one chapter near the end of the book for the wives of men who may be struggling, which gives clearer insight as to why men often behave as they do. While clearly condemning sin, the author focuses upon the believing man remembering his new identity in Christ. I recommend this title be on every Christian man's bookshelf.

This was an excellent book by Bill Perkins. He puts in everyday language the temptations that cross the paths of both believers and non-believers. With believers, however, he gives us an opening or method to drive away these temptations for our short time here in the world. I especially like the fact that Bill states that we will stumble as we go along in trying to get rid of these temptations but through asking the Lord, Jesus Christ for help, we (Christian men) should all be able to reach our goal putting the old temptations behind us and live a life which is holy and loving and showing grace to those who stumble along the way.

The difference between this version of men's struggles and books similar exposing the battle we face, is that this author seems to have found a way to excuse the offense. My Bible still reads that when our eyes offend us we are to remove them. We are to stop giving excuses and just be accountable and stop.
