I really appreciate the research that has been put into compiling this book and find it very informative. I enjoy reading the history that is revealed., and appreciate all the effort that was put forth in putting this together. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the history of these men not revealed in the Bible. Thank you Mr. McBirnie.

Jessica Dowling4 Stars Out Of 5This product makes interesting reading.June 2, 2011Jessica DowlingQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3I am in the process of reading this book. So far, I find it interesting and informative. In some chapters there is almost too much information about legends which are obviously far fetched. I am enjoying the book and getting a good idea of what did happen to the Twelve Apostles.

Betty Detwiler2 Stars Out Of 5Too ScholarlyMarch 14, 2019Betty DetwilerI needed factual information on what happened to the twelve apostles following Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. This book did not provide that in any logical manner. As I skimmed the chapters I noticed too much information on what tradition said, rather than on proven facts. A doctoral student in biblical history might find this book of interest but the ordinary reader would find the content too deep and hard to understand.
