This film depicted a realistic experience for today's young people. It kept their attention and provided many activities for discussion and role-play. It is suitable for family and small groups.

Its such a beautiful movie. It shows that people who truly allow the Lord to use them can change the world around them. Its powerful everytime I watch it. My family has bought extra copies and given them away as gifts, one in Spanish! I highly recommend this film for your entire family. It will touch your heart.

A very beautiful picture with a deep message, watched with my family and have since shown it to my church youths, we discussed the power of Memaw's unselfish love for a stranger and how she helped fully rehabilitate him and also her service to God and fellow citizens. It was her love and power to witness that everybody to try and live a life like hers. This work is a good teaching tool for Youth leaders and the church as a whole

We bought this movie several years ago and wore it out in the first few months! Christian films often lack passion and good-acting, but this is a two-thumbs-up movie! We have let several friends borrow it and we all agreed it's a great watch. We have it on VHS and will definitely be buying the DVD for long-term keeps!

I really enjoyed this movie. I have watched it several times. It has good music and a very nice story line. I find most movies too offensive to watch so this is a great alternative to the trash on T.V.

We really enjoyed this. The movie's message is clear, the music is joyful, and as someone else mentioned, it was powerful to see a church really love a character who didn't "deserve" it. That was refreshing to see. I liked that I didn't know where every single plot line was going to lead ten minutes into the movie, the acting in most cases was great, and I loved that our sons could (and wanted to!) watch it with us. (*Note* there is an intense scene or two that might scare younger children; I would say it's good for kids maybe 8 or 9 and up?). We actually have watched it a few times, as well as loaned it to friends who had seen it before and wanted to see it again! Really good movie. Thank you so much to the Billy Graham association and to all the cast who did such a good job and gave their best to the project--so it could be something we could enjoy. P.S. If you like this one, you might try The Climb and The Ride. . . we enjoyed those, as well, and friends have borrowed The Climb so many times we've hardly been able to keep it on our shelf! ;-) It's actually out right now . . . :-)

This is one of the best movies that I have ever seen. I watched it for the first time in 2001 and I was very impressed at the how it wove together its themes of love, friendship, forgiveness, and God's transforming power. I work with troubled youth and have shown this movie to them on occasion and they absolutely love it. They get to see in a practical way how God loves us through people and how faith in him can transform our lvies. It also stresses how the choices we make impact us. This is a great movie! I would love to see more like this.

This movie was so awesome and inspirational. What touched me the most is the unconditional love that was portrayed in this movie. Unfortunately a lot of churches lack this type of love. The acting was great, the music was great and the whole theme was great. I highly recommend this movie.

Wonderful movie! It's not the acting or singing that counts in a movie: it's the meaning. That is what counts in a Christian film. GREAT film! Uplifting!!! Great for everyone!

Very disappointed. Tommy's singing very bad.Too much time wasted in noise and not enough meat or substance. Don't waste your money. Was clean but that's all. Make wonder why not more bad reviews ???

This movie is great, I first saw it on TV and I loved it and, I still love it. The message of the movie is not watered down and just thrown out there it really shows how God works things out for people if they just believe in Him and accept what He has for them. I showed it to people in my church choir on a bus trip to Georgia and they loved it as well, I recommend this movie to anyone who need to be up lifted and to see how God works things out for people who accept him. The music and the singing make you feel so happy and joyful inside it fills you with the Holy Spirit it is so awesome. I give this movie more then an A+; I give the glory and honor to God for giving this inspiration to director Charlie Jordan. Also thanks to Irma P. Hall, Darius McCrary, Tamera Mowry, Rashaan Nall, John Amos, Kirk Franklin, and, also Billy Graham for starring in this movie, they couldn't have found a better cast of people. I recommend this to any and all young people and adults, to God be the glory.

This movie is so inspiring and what I like about it the most is that it shows the reality of being on the streets of a big city. The way that the process of his spiritual growth was displayed was awesome. Everyone that has kids, deals with youth, or wants something for there own Christian Library, should purchase this.
