I must say this audio have made me so much more aware of the things I need to pay attention to in my son. Thank you Dr. Dobson, there were some very alarming things that I learn, I will be recommending to all my friends with boys.

Jenifer HaleyEastern IdahoAge: 25-34Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Good information, well read, needs focus at timesJune 30, 2011Jenifer HaleyEastern IdahoAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4The narrator of this audio book does a great job enunciating and changing his voice to emphasize points. This was a great gift for my husband who is an auditory learner and has a long commute each morning and evening for listening. The content is good and brought up some great talking points for us when wondering how to work with our son on some behaviors. At times, however, it went down "rabbit trails" that are addressed in Dr. Dobson's other books - not that these weren't useful at all, but they got a little long and repetitive. The topical chapters make up for this somewhat - you can easily skip parts that don't really apply and go to information you need now. Overall a worthwhile read/listen!

Patricia Mundt4 Stars Out Of 5May 10, 2010Patricia MundtI just remarried to a man that is raising his 4 year old grandson. There are many things that we have to deal with because of his grandson's mom and dad (who never married) We thought that this would be good to listen to. I would highly recommend it. It made me realize that many of the things that boys do are just because they're boys. I've raised three children with my deceased husband, the youngest being 28. So its been a while and I needed to readjust back into the motherhood role. This book addresses many of the things that we're dealing with although I wish Dr. Dobson would say more about people in our situation. I think that more and more grandparents are raising their children's children.
