This is the first book I have read of Ravi Zacharias'. I think it was a nice place to start (his bio) considering I have seen many books of his that I plan to read now. Ravi describes the atmosphere of India so well and you get such amazing pictures in your mind and a feeling of "being there" in a sense. There are a few stories in this book that are just incredible! The things that happened & how they happened are such great examples of God's work in our lives and His love for us. These are the stories that really captivated me and strengthened my faith. I think when you read the book you will know which amazing stories I am referring to. I loved how it also contained a wide array of stories about people from different walks of life and/or from cultures with their own religions who then come to Christ, or admit that Jesus is truly the answer. Highly recommend this book.

Not a very big book, this was a story that was hard to put down. Honest, inspiring and worth not just reading for myself but sharing with someone else. I learned more about Ravi Z. and how he came to know God's love and how he gave his life to Jesus, including the many adventures God has taken him on. I also found as a bonus, much insight into how someone from the "west" like me thinks which is quite differently than someone born from the "east" may be thinking.

I purchased this book for my 20 year old Grandson's birthday. My son (American) married my grandson's mother (Indian) and adopted him when he was little. Thus traveling from East to West has special significance for him. I only got a short time to skim book before mailing it. But it is truly inspirational. Just what my grandson needs at this moment.
