SOS' Grade 9 Integrated Physics & Chemistry course covers physical science fundamentals such as: matter and changes in matter, motion and forces, energy and energy transfers, waves, electricity, and magnetism. Fun, informative lessons include hands-on experiments, graphics and multimedia tools. The former 2009 Switched-On 9th Grade Science course is now the Switched-On General Science III elective.

This is our 1st SOS product, but we'll be buying more. We have only been through a few lessons, but we've had no trouble so far. I am not one for sitting through tutorials, but I have found my way through set-up easily. We have only encountered one minor issue. I purchased SOS because my son is dyslexic and really needs the read back feature. However, the computer is only capable of reading sounds instead of whole words, so it breaks words in odd places. My son says he is getting uses to it though. Now I am looking to purchase additional subjects.
