This book gives more than just fashion advice. It gives Christian women permission to care about their appearance, with scripture verses to back this up. God does care about His beautiful daughters! There is advice on how to dress for your body type, how to dress for your fashion style, how to pick colors that are right for you, how to pick make-up, glasses, hair-styles, jeans, underwear, swimsuits, accessories, etc. It sounds like all this will break the bank, but quite the opposite. Shari gives clear advice on what staples every woman needs in her closet so she can plan shopping trips to buy only what she will actually wear that looks good on her. She gives suggestions on stores to shop at for varying budgets. There is also a chapter on modesty for all women, especially teen girls. This book absolutely has it all. It has revolutionized my life, giving me more confidence because I now know how to care for myself in a way that is pleasing to God and looks put together well. My little boys often say, "Mama look nice!"
