I love Grace Livingston Hill and this book was true to the others. It is a wonderful book. Very clearly talks about the Lord and being a Christian.

It's storyline is captivating and keeps your attention to the very end.

I have a copy from more than 40 years ago. Grace Livingston Hill will always be a favorite of mine. Love the updated cover. Her books are great wholesome reading that seem to appeal to youth and us older gals. Going to make a great stocking stuffer.

All of Grace Livingstone Hill books are a blessing to read. They are good, wholesome Christian romance stories which will delight and encourage.

This story was a complete surprise. Dealing with a young man who after spending time on his own in the wilderness, returns to civilization. He finds that many people around him are destitute as so many are these days. Without revealing the story line, I would just say that it was difficult to put the book down as there were so many hopes for a good outcome. This is a book that will give you a lift and hope for the future.
