Spurgeon's sermons never fail to enliven readers who appreciate the work of love that they represent. It is obvious to all who read his works that he loved God, God's Word, and God's people. It goes without saying, that he had a great love of reaching the lost, and building up the faithful. His sermons can be used as a commentary on whatever passage is under study, for there is little of Scripture that he did not preach from directly, and often times more than once. It's cheaper, and takes up less space to have his complete works (about 90 volumes) on CD ROM. CD ROMs are a good investment, and they are more portable. Portability is a plus, when traveling. It allows you to travel light.
